Dear Folks,

The last novel proteins fold were from the yr 2007(pdb statistics),
>From 2007 to till date no novel fold has been identified, this mean the
present 1283 fold are the final or
should I wait, if so , with what criteria do I expect for a new fold..or
what are the expectations ...

If we have solved 56066 structures till now with 1283 folds already known,
Does it mean we have gained some rationality in defining new folds(at least
a clue) ?
