I am using a Mac OS X Version 10.5.6 with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. At
present I have the X Window system --- Xquartz 2.1.5 - (xorg-server
1.3.0-apple22) (2.1.5).
I installed many crystallographic tools through fink. When I am updating fink,
it stopped with an error message as follows:
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.dylib

Reason: Incompatible library version: gtk-query-immodules-2.0 requires
version 3.0.0 or later, but libXdamage.1.dylib provides version 2.0.0

Ihave been suggested to update X11 to solve this problem. I have two questions:
1. How I can update X11?
2. If I update X11, whether it will cause any problem to the existing programs?
