Dear Kumar, If one of the proteins you want to crystallize is a protease you should try a specific inhibitor. If the degradation is due to a contaminating protease you could try some potent general purpose inhibitors like PMSF or try to purify the contaminating protease away.
Good luck! The problem is one of the proteins degrades over time and allows only the second protein to crystallize. While addition of protease inhibitors such as EDTA is one of the ways to go, I would like to know if there are other ways to fix this problem. Thank you Kumar
