1st BIOmics Hands-On Workshop & Conference
The International BIOmics Training & Education Center in
Bioinformatics, Proteomics & Functional genomics ("BIOmics")
announces its first Hands-On Workshop & Conference.
Dates: August 30 to September 4, 2009.
Location: Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, ISRAEL.
Geared to: Researchers, Postdocs and Graduate students from academia
and industry.
Hands-on sessions: Limited to 20 participants.
Content: Morning talks from Israeli and international experts.
Afternoon hands-on sessions deal with high throughput technologies,
next-generation sequencing, molecules in 3D, protein–ligand
interactions, gene ontology, whole-genome genetic variation.
Fellowships: available for participants from academia (courtesy of
the Israel National Commission for UNESCO).
Deadline for application: July 31, 2009.
