Hi

I've only seen this when people try running Mosflm 7.0.4 (set by the MOSFLM_EXEC env) with iMosflm 1.0.3. This won't work - there was a bug that became apparent that could only be fixed by changing both Mosflm and iMosflm, so if you are running iMosflm 1.0.3, you need to make sure you are running Mosflm 7.0.5 with it.

This is complicated by the recent CCP4 release (6.1.2) having Mosflm 7.0.4 and iMosflm 1.0.0, and also by the CCP4 set-up process pointing _whatever_ iMosflm you have on your system to the CCP4 supplied Mosflm; so if you have installed CCP4 6.1.2, and want to install iMosflm 1.0.3 "over the top", you have to hack into the CCP4 setup stuff to make sure you are using the right iMosflm/Mosflm pairing, or make sure that in your .cshrc/.profile/.bash_profile/.login/.whatever file, you set up the iMosflm environment after the CCP4 setup.

Hello all,

I am attempting to use the iMosflm 1.0.3 GUI with the test dataset available
from the webpage. I am able to load the dataset without any problems.
However, when I click on Indexing the program displays the error below.

Clicking OK just results in a spinning E in the upper right hand corner while the program says "Finding spots on image hg_084.mar1600" I'm not sure
what it did with image one. There are no spots selected in the Image
Display.

Looking at the mosflm.lp file it appears that spots were found for both image 1 and 84 successfully. Perhaps this is a problem with the GUI not
updating?

Any help would be appreciated. It's been a while since I played with
iMosflm but this didn't happen when I went through the tutorial with
previous versions.

Regards,

Mike
