This is difficult..
Do you want to keep the same spacegroup and cell, or just embed that map
in a large P1 cell and use it for molecular replacement searches?

Dear All,
I have masked a map in coot and exported it. Now I'm trying to use SFall
to convert the map file to mtz file but I get the error msg: "FATAL
DISAGREEMENT BETWEEN INPUT INFO AND MAP HEADER".
How to solve this? Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

Anita
You can do the following in Coot:
Read in a map that is gridded in the way that SFALL likes (0)
Read in your masked map (1)
Then run:
(average-map '(0 0) '(1 1))
Now map 2 is in the same cell and grid as the SFALL map. Export that.
