You don't *have* to use every single one of the 96 wells on a plate, of course -- it's quite feasible to use only 24 wells and then seal it.

If you buy that argument: I recommend the 3-drop plates from SwissCi because you can do multiple drops per well, you can do pretty large volumes, and you don't need much reservoir volume (if you don't want to).

(Of course, you can also use the 2-drop MRC plates, but that's one less drop per well.)
