Postdoc and Ph.D Positions available in GPCR research filed at PSI

Two postdoc and one Ph.D positions are open in the field of GPCR
structure and signalling in Biomolecular Research Laboratory Laboratory
(BMR) at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland. These projects are
funded by our external industrial partners and NCCR structure biology
(National Center of Competence in Research in Switzerland). This is an
aoutstandfing opportunity to work in the field of membrane proeteins
with an experienced team. The candidates can benefit from the high
throughput protein expression, purification and crystallization
platform, state-of-art light microscopes and other modern biophysical
instrumentations of BMR. The protein crystallography beamline of the
Swiss Light Source (SLS) at PSI also provide excellent conditions for
carrying out crystallographic work most efficiently.

Candidates with a background in biological/chemical sciences and have a
thorough knowledge of the basic techniques of molecular biology,
biochemistry and biophysics are encouraged to apply. Being an
enthusiastic researcher and a good team player will help to ensure your
success in this exciting field of study.

The contract for Postdocs will initially be for 2 years with the
possibility of a one year extension. Applications including full
curriculum vitae and the names of 3 academic references should be sent
