POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW ? DISEASE BIOLOGY Job ID: 75472 BR Duties & Responsibilities: Works on drug targets from Dengue virus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Works with Research Investigator to define and propose the necessary means for research work, including designing experiments and defining scientific models and processes. Conducts exploratory activities and generates analysis and interpretation of the results. Prepares reports on laboratory activities according to global research standards. Adheres to local and global standards and regulations (e.g. health, safety, environment, animal welfare, information security). Remains up to date scientifically in his/her specific field. Presents scientific / technical work at internal and external meetings. Requirements: PhD in protein Biochemistry or Molecular Biology is required. A strong background in protein expression and purification is essential. Experience of protein crystallography and / or protein biophysics is desirable. Good scientific and technical expertise in a specific area. Good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Good presentation and writing skills. Able to work well in a team and collaborate with others effectively. Selected candidate will be offered a 2-year contract and relocation assistance to work in Singapore.
