Indiana University - Bloomington (IUB) seeks an electron microscopist for the position of Director of the IUB cryo-TEM Facility. The mission of the cryo-TEM Facility is to provide data for structural biology studies and material sciences. The facility houses a JEOL 3200FS, which is equipped for cryo-TEM, tomography, STEM, EELS, and EDS, as well as ancillary equipment (http://sites.bio.indiana.edu/~cryo/). The primary responsibilities of this position are data collection, user training and liaison, and scope maintenance. Within this position are opportunities for collaboration, independent research, and teaching. Experience with low dose cryo-TEM is essential. Experience with cryo-tomography and STEM are desirable.
