Vacancy for Head of the Crystallisation Facility at EMBL Grenoble
The EMBL Grenoble Outstation runs the very successful high throughput crystallisation service of the Partnership for Structural Biology in Grenoble (PSB, http://www.psb-grenoble.eu/) <http://www.psb-grenoble.eu/spip.php?rubrique16>. It is one of the largest such facilities in Europe and serves over 200 PSB scientists as well as external users via the EU funded P-CUBE programme (http://www.p-cube.eu/ <http://www.p-cube.eu/>). We wish to recruit a dynamic scientist to take responsibility for the platform and oversee its future operations and development. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high-quality, state-of-the-art user service as well as develop and upgrade the facility by implementation of innovative crystallisation technologies. In particular the platform should be closely integrated with both upstream protein production facilities and downstream X-ray data collection facilities, in collaboration with other teams at the Outstation.
