A postdoctoral position is currently available to work in the lab of Dr.
Cara Vaughan at the Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology
(ISMB), Birkbeck, London. The aim of the project is to investigate
mechanisms of regulation of Hsp90 function by cochaperones using both
protein crystallography and electron microscopy. Further information on
the group's research interests and relevant publications can be found at
http://people.cryst.bbk.ac.uk/~ubcg72a/Home.html
The ISMB is extremely well equipped for all aspects of protein
crystallography, electron microscopy and biophysics.
Applicants must have a PhD in Structural Molecular Biology or
Biophysics. Experience in protein crystallography, single particle
electron microscopy or Hsp90-related research will be an advantage.
Informal enquiries can be made to me directly (e-mail:
[email protected])
Formal applications must be made through www.bbk.ac.uk/jobs and search
using reference number 10551.
The closing date for completed applications is 26 June 2011.
