A 2-year postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. A. Dessen at the Institut de Biologie Structurale in Grenoble, France, to study structure and function of new bacterial virulence factors.
The laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment for biochemistry and crystallography studies, and the postdoctoral fellowship will involve protein purification, crystallization, data collection at the synchrotron, and structure solution and refinement. The IBS is a member of the Partnership for Structural Biology and thus has preferential access to equipment and techniques available on the PSB site, which also includes the EMBL, the ILL, and the ESRF. Any inquiries should be sent to [email protected].
