[email protected] ------------------------------------- Dear Colleagues, Within the framework of a French « Agence Nationale de la Recherche » (ANR) contract, we are studying at AFMB (Marseille), in collaboration with teams in Cork (Ireland) and Laval (Quebec, Canada) the 3D structure and function of phage DNA injection devices. Applications are invited for a 2 years post-doctoral position to perform large complexes crystallization and X-ray diffraction studies (e.g. Sciara et al (2010), PNAS 107:6852-7, PubMed:20351260). These studies will be combined with electron microscopy approaches (hybrid methods). Strong knowledge in protein crystallization and X-ray crystallography is desired. Candidates should send a CV with three references to: Dr. Christian Cambillau, Group Leader Head of Marseille-Nice Génopole Architecture et Fonction des Macromolecules Biologiques, UMR 6098, CNRS-Universités Aix-Marseille I & II, Campus de Luminy, Case 932 163 Avenue de Luminy 13288 MARSEILLE Cedex 09, France Phone: +33.491.825.590; Fax:+33.491. 266.720; Cellular: +33.683.529.912 e-mail: [email protected] lab home page: http://www.afmb.univ-mrs.fr/-Molecular-Transport-Signalling-?lang=eng -- Miguel Architecture et Fonction des Macromolécules Biologiques (UMR6098) CNRS, Universités d'Aix-Marseille I & II Case 932, 163 Avenue de Luminy, 13288 Marseille cedex 9, France Tel: +33(0) 491 82 55 93 Fax: +33(0) 491 26 67 20 mailto:[email protected] http://www.afmb.univ-mrs.fr/Miguel-Ortiz-Lombardia
