A postdoctoral position in the area of CRYSTALLOGRAPHY is available at the 
Child Health Institute of New Jersey, Department of Neuroscience and Cell 
Biology at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, creative, and interactive 
scientist, preferably within a year of finishing his/her degree. Qualified 
applicants will have a PhD and at least one first-author research paper 
published in a peer-reviewed journal. Salary and benefit levels will be 
commensurate with the experience of the applicant. 

The candidate should have a strong background and experience in protein 
expression, purification, and one or more of the following techniques: protein 
crystallography, SAXS, ITC, AUC and other biophysical techniques. The applicant 
will work on the structural and functional characterization (binding, 
three-dimensional structure) of trans-synaptic adhesion molecules in the 
context of autism spectrum disorder.
