Harkewal Singh, Ph.D. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description A postdoctoral position is available beginning from July 2013 in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine Philadelphia to join our team researching on the role of mitochondrial ion channels in physiology. Our lab is fully funded and well-equipped, and it uses advanced molecular biology, biochemical, cell biology, super resolution imaging (STED), electrophysiology and cardiophysiological techniques to identify and elucidate physiological role and mechanisms of intracellular ion channels. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D., D.V.M, M.D. Ph.D., or equivalent, be highly motivated with a strong background in cell biology and/or electrophysiology and/or cardiophysiology.
