A PhD position is available starting immediately at the Gene Center, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich, in the research group of Prof. Dr. Mario Halic. Project involve crystallization and cryo-EM studies of proteins involved in RNAi and heterochromatin formation in fission yeast. Candidates must be motivated and familiar with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques. Applicants must hold a masters degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent.
