Dear all,

The Alba synchrotron has open a 3-years contract for a Controls Scientist at
the XALOC MX beamline. The beamline is equipped with state-of-the-art optics
and end-station instrumentation including a high accuracy diffractometer, an
automatic sample changer and a Pilatus 6M detector. The beamline recently
started user operation, and is currently performing high-quality X-ray
crystallography data collections. More info on the beamline at
www.cells.es/Beamlines/XALOC

The profile is directed to Scientists with a solid basis on computing and
controls or, alternatively, to Control Engineers with solid basis on
Macromolecular Crystallography. The successful candidate will (a) specify,
integrate and test functionalities, macros and GUIs for the XALOC control
system oriented to improve the capabilities of the beamline concerning
X-ray optics, data acquisition strategies; (b) provide Local Contact
support; and (c) participate in macromolecular crystallography projects.

Deadline for applications is 28 June 2013. For more information and
applications please refer to:
