A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Alessio Ciulli at the College of Life Sciences, University of Dundee (UK) to study structure-function relationships and druggability of epigenetics Protein-Protein Interactions (PPIs).
You will join a multi-disciplinary team of researchers concerned with the Structural Biology & Chemical Biology of PPIs. We are particularly interested in understanding PPIs and exploiting their tractability to develop novel chemical tools and drug leads by structure-based drug design. We are inviting applications from motivated scientists with strong background in the following areas: - Biochemistry /Molecular biology, with expertise in protein expression, engineering, purification, characterisation and crystallisation. - Protein crystallography, with expertise in data collection, structure solution and model refinement; and/or expertise with protein NMR spectroscopy. Further details and information on how to apply can be found at http://www.lifesci.dundee.ac.uk/vacancies/2013/07/01/postdoctoral-research-assistant-structure-function-epigenetic-ppis Formal applications and CVs must be submitted through the above route. Informal queries are welcome.
