Hi Folks,

As many of you may know, Andy Torelli and I have been co-chairing sessions at
the yearly American Crystallographic Association meetings that deal with the
nuts and bolts about how to determine crystal structures. Next May in
Albuquerque, NM, we are hosting a session called "Blackboard Sessions: Data
Processing With The Pros". We are recruiting the best and brightest people
that write the programs that we use to process diffraction data.

We would like your help. We need data that have a problem that is reputed to
be solvable by good use of the data processing software. You provide the images
to us. We will provide those images to the professionals and they will process
the data and provide a primer for how they did so. They will go through their
primer at the ACA meeting next May. These primers will be posted to the link
on the ACA website link called "Blackboard sessions."

If you have such a dataset, please contact me. Andy and I will sort through
the many responses and the best ones will receive ...... our gratitude and an
acknowledgement at the meeting. And who knows, maybe we can come up with a
cool "thank you" prize.

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Ed Collins
Andy Torelli
