Applications are being sought for a four year PhD position (including a
taught component and laboratory rotations in the first year) to be
supervised by Dr. Jim Spencer and Professor Adrian Mulholland at the
University of Bristol, UK. Details of the project "Combining theory and
experiment to study enzyme-catalysed reactions: mechanism and specificity
of beta-lactamases" which will involve a mixture of structural, kinetic and
computational techniques, are available at:

The deadline for applications is 10th January 2014.

Please note that, due to funding restrictions, the position is available to
UK nationals, or to EU nationals with at least three years residence in the
UK, ONLY.
