EMBL is seeking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher to join the group of Daniel Panne at EMBL Grenoble. EMBL is a leading international research organization with a collaborative atmosphere. We are seeking to recruit an outstanding candidate with a strong interest in structure determination. We focus on multi-protein complexes involved in epigenetic gene regulation and/or signaling in the innate immune system. Qualifications and Experience: The successful applicant should hold a Ph.D. with a strong background in recombinant protein expression, crystallization, and structure determination. Experience in biophysics is also desirable. We seek a motivated, enthusiastic and organised self-starter; one who can work independently but at the same time extract the benefits of an excellent research environment. The ability to independently take responsibility over his/her own project, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills, are required as well as reliability, attention to detail and effective time management.
