We are pleased to announce a one day RELION workshop led by its developer Sjors Scheres and hosted by CCP-EM on 16th October 2014. RELION (for REgularised LIkelihood OptimisatioN, pronounced "rely-on") is a stand-alone computer program that employs an empirical Bayesian approach to refinement of (multiple) 3D reconstructions or 2D class averages in electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM). The workshop will be held at Diamond House, Harwell, Oxfordshire, UK.
