Dear Colleagues, A postdoctoral position is available for immediate start for highly motivated researchers in the laboratory of Dr. Xin Liu at UT Southwestern Medical Center (http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/fis/faculty/127166/xin-liu.html). The research of the laboratory is focused on the regulation of chromatin organization and its impacts on transcription and human diseases. We are particularly interested in elucidating the molecular and biophysical basis of chromatin dynamics including chromatin loop and heterochromatin formation mediated by macromolecular complexes during transcriptional activation or repression. Applicants with background and interest in structural biology, protein and nucleic acid biochemistry, chromatin and transcription biology, or biophysical methodology are encouraged to apply.
