We are seeking highly motivated postdoc researchers to join us in structural and functional studies of mitochondrial DNA replication. The studies aim to understand and eventually overcome antiviral drug mitochondrial toxicity, and to provide structural basis for mitochondrial diseases. Experiences in protein crystallography, cryoEM and protein-nucleic acid interactions are highly desirable. The Sealy Structural Biology Center at University of Texas Medical Branch is well equipped with crystallography, cryoEM and solution biophysics facilities.
