The School of Life Sciences of the University of Dundee are looking for a highly motivated structural biologist to join a team of scientists as part of an exciting new drug discovery collaboration on targeted protein degradation between Professor Alessio Ciulli and Boehringer Ingelheim. Their mission is to discover and develop a class of small-molecule drugs that induce protein degradation as a novel therapeutic paradigm to treat cancer and other human diseases with serious unmet medical needs. The post is available immediately and salary will depend on experience, but will be up to £38,183. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in industry-style drug discovery within an academic setting. This post is available for a fixed term period of 18 months in the first instance, with the possibility of being renewed for another 18 months.
