Hmm, that's really cryptic. In which respect does it matter that DATA_RANGE is 
not a multiple of 50? DATA_RANGE takes two integer-valued parameters, <low> and 
<high>. As long as 0 < low <= high , and those frames are stored in the .h5 
files, you should be fine, at least from the viewpoint of XDS data processing.
