Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in Dr. Zucai Suo’s laboratory tostudy substitution errors of DNA replication, DNA replication fork reconstitution, enzymatic functions, mechanisms, and enzyme-substrate interactions through time-dependent and conventional X-ray crystallography as well as single particle Cryo-electron microscopy. Protein targets for these studies are various DNA or RNA polymreases and gene editing enzymes. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in structural biology and extensive experience in all aspects of protein X-ray crystallography, including protein expression and purification, crystallization, structure determination and refinement.
