•Overseeingandcoordinatingthecorefacilities(includingbudget,investmentsandfinances) •Coordinatingtechnologysharing,upgradingandscouting •ContacttothepolicymakersforscientificinfrastructureatAustrianandEuropeanlevelandcontacttothefundingbodies •Promotinganintegratedmanagementinformationsystem •Representingtheplatformsinmainexecutiveandstrategicbodies •Promotinginternalandexternaltrainingactivitiesinstate-of-the-arttechnologies •InvolvementintheVBCLifeScienceCampusdevelopment •Coordinatingandboostingdisseminationandoutreachactivities ProfileThecandidateisexpectedtohaveabackgroundinmolecularbiology(PhDdegree),excellentorganizational,communication, leadership,andmanagementskills.He/sheshouldhaveatleast10yearsexperienceinresearchandmanagementinacademiaor the privatesector.
