Dear All,

I am currently looking for a highly motivated biochemist to take up a 2-year
Postdoctoral position in the Day laboratory at the University of Otago,
Dunedin, New Zealand.

My group is interested in understanding how proteins are modified with
ubiquitin. We are particularly interested in how RING E3-ligases regulate
ubiquitin transfer and how different E2 enzymes specify distinct modifications.
We use a combination of X-ray crystallography, biochemical and biophysical
approaches to investigate the structure and function of E2 proteins and RING
E3-ligases. Experience in either X-ray crystallography or the biochemical
analysis of protein ubiquitylation is highly desirable.

Please contact me with informal enquiries about the position
([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>). The closing date
for applications is 14th June and a full description, as well as instructions
for formal application can be found at the University site (Postdoctoral Fellow
- Protein
Biochemistry<https://otago.taleo.net/careersection/2/jobdetail.ftl?lang=en&job=1801023>).

Kind regards,
Catherine
