Since January, the diagnostic software AUSPEX for diffraction data has been available in CCP4 (in GUI2 and from the command line), and is now also available as a web service at
www.auspex.de AUSPEX can help you to quickly recognize ice rings as well as other pathologies (have a look at www.auspex.de/pathol ) using an MTZ file or even only a PDB code.
