Dear all,

we are looking for

- a postdoctoral fellow to uncover *how inositol pyrophosphate signaling molecules interact with very different protein complexes* to allow plants to adapt their development when nutrients become limiting (Zhu /et al./, *bioRxiv*, 2018; Wild /et al./, *Science* 2016).

and

- a postdoctoral fellow to elucidate *how plant-unique membrane receptor kinase complexes orchestrate plant growth and development* (Hohmann /et al./, *Nature Plants*, 2018; Hohmann /et al./, *PNAS*, 2018, Santiago /et al./, *eLife*, 2016; Santiago /et al./, *Science*, 2013).

We combine structural biology and quantitative biochemistry with genetics and cell biology to understand core signaling pathways in plant development in mechanistic detail. You would work in a fully equipped biochemistry (ITC, SPR, SEC-MALLS) and crystallography lab, with in-house access to a Talos Artica and to many nice team members and collaborators.

We are looking for 1^st year postdoctoral fellows with a background in (membrane) protein biochemistry and structural biology. A green thumb would considered a plus ;-)
