Dear Colleagues,

I am posting the following information on behalf of Professor Hong Li, IMB,
Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL. All inquiries should be sent
directly to her. Thanks.

NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Hong Li's
laboratory at the Institute of Molecular Biophysics, Florida State University,
to study nucleic acids-protein interactions by electron cryomicroscoscopy
(cryoEM), X-ray crystallography and other complementary methods. The ideal
candidates should have a strong background in or are willing to learn cryo-EM
or X-ray crystallography.

Dr. Hong Li's laboratory is located in the Florida State University,
Tallahassee, Florida. The Institute has recently become the NIH Center for
Electron Microscopy of the southeast region, housing an FEI Titan Krios
microscope equipped with a Phase Plate, a K3 Summit or a DE64 direct electron
camera and High Performance Computing capabilities. The Institute of Molecular
Biophysics has a major focus on structural biology hosting multiple research
groups utilizing cryo-EM, X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy and theoretical
computations, which allows anyone within the Institute seamlessly integrate
these structural biology methods.

Tallahassee is the capital for the state of Florida and is about 1.5 hour drive
to the beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. The capital city also has
variety of music, athletic, theater, and film activities offered by the
world-class teams and the school of music and arts.

The standard NIH annual salary for the postdoctoral fellow starts at $47,659
with full health and retirement benefits that can be increased annually upon
satisfactory evaluation. Interested candidates should send a recent CV, two
names of references to
