Norway celebrates:
On 31/10-1/11, we will celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Odd Hassel's
Nobel prize in Chemistry with the symposium "Chemistry 2019: On Odd
Hassel´s shoulders". Odd Hassel shared the Nobel prize in Chemistry with
Derek H. R. Barton in 1969 "for their contributions to the development
of the concept of conformation and its application in chemistry."

The main event will take place at the Norwegian Academy of Science and
Letters on 1/11, with limited seats (registration fee for day 2: 350 NOK
= approximately 35 Euro). Therefore you might like to sign up as soon as
possible. The registration will close on 1/10, but slots might be booked
out much earlier than that.
