USA*

A postdoctoral fellowship opportunity is available in the Cell Biology and
Biophysics Unit headed by Dr. Antonina Roll-Mecak to work on the structure
and mechanism of tubulin posttranslational modification enzymes combining
cryo-EM with in vitro reconstitution and fluorescence microscopy. For
previous work from the lab, see Valenstein and Roll-Mecak, *Cell* 2016,
Vemu et al., MBoC, 2017; Zehr et al., *Nature Struct Mol Bio.* 2017,Vemu et
al., *Science *2018; Zehr et al. *Developmental Cell *2019. For more
information please visit: https://neuroscience.nih.gov/ninds/rm_lab/. We
are looking for Ph.D. graduates with a strong record of accomplishments and
expertise in structural biology (X-ray or cryo-EM), in vitro
reconstitution, or enzymology. Expertise in cryo-EM is not required, but
preferred. The NIH has an outstanding Cell and Structural Biology community
and the lab has regular access to state-of-the-art resources such as Krios,
TIRF and lattice sheet microscopes. The NIH campus is 15 minutes by metro
from downtown Washington DC with its fabulous museums, theaters, concert
halls and has easy access to parks and bike trails.

Please send a CV, a one-page research experience summary and contact
