Dear all, A postdoctoral position is available to work on the prediction of protein-RNA interactions by combining structural, evolutionary and “omics” data. The project entails data analysis, modeling and development of computational prediction tools. Applicants should hold a PhD in structural bioinformatics or a related area, be highly motivated by the use of computational/mathematical tools to answer questions of biological interest, and have previous experience in data analysis, methods development and programming (in Python at least). The ideal candidate would have experience in manipulating RNA from a structural/molecular point of view, complementary to our team’s expertise.
The position is available for an initial 12 months, which can be extended to 2 years total. Start date should be around April 2020 (with some flexibility). The project will be carried out at CEA Saclay/I2BC Gif-sur-Yvette (Paris area, France). Gross monthly salary would be 2695 to 3850 € depending on previous experience.
