Apologies that didn't work. I was testing on a VM running on a Mac connected to 
a UHD display and there it did change the resolution that CCP4i2 was drawing 
the display at. 

When you start CCP4i2 what does it say in the console that appears as CCP4i2 
starts? You're looking for a line like:

StyleSheet screen size: 3840 2160

If that's 3840x2160 not the resolution the desktop is appearing to be with 250% 
scaling then I don't think there's any solution apart from making the font 
bigger. Unfortunately I'm not able to test CCP4i2 on a real (i.e. not virtual) 
machine with a HiDPI display that's not a Mac (where it works fine).
