One post-doctoral position is being offered by the Center for Research in
Inflammatory Diseases (CRID), one of the Research, Innovation and
Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by the São Paulo Research
Foundation (FAPESP) and headquartered at the University of São Paulo’s
Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP).



The opportunity is aimed at highly motivated scientists with expertise and
background in the field of biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. The
selected candidate will join a collaboration between CRID and the Brazilian
Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio), affiliated with the Brazilian
Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) in Campinas (also in
the state of São Paulo). The project is focused on the identification of
novel compounds to treat inflammation; activities will be performed in
Campinas.



We are seeking applicants who are exceptionally motivated, innovative, who
can work independently within a collaborative team setting. The ideal
candidate should have a PhD degree and background in the field of
biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. Prior experience in techniques such
as gene cloning, transfection, heterologous protein expression, protein
purification, crystallization, structural biology and medicinal chemistry
are desired.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected
candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of
R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of
the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly
related to the research activity.
