How cryo-EM helps you understand GPCR structure to drive drug design May 27, 2020 | 9 a.m. PDT | noon EDT | 5 p.m. BST | 6 p.m. CEST
G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are an important family of drug targets. About one-third of all U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved drugs target 108 GPCR family members. There is further possibility to target the 800 GPCR family members. Over the last 10 years, substantial progress has been made in determining the structural biology of GPCRs, facilitated by structure-based drug design (SBDD) approaches. Join Drs. Matthew Belousoff of Monash University, Australia and Stacey Southall of Sosei Heptares for this webinar, in which we will highlight cryo-EM studies of GPCRs and how advances in GPCR SBDD are becoming the new normal for delivering first-in-class and best-in-class drugs. Attend this webinar to learn about: - Activation of receptor complexes and the presence of multiple dynamic states - Advantages of Sosei Heptares' StaR(R) (Stabilized Receptor) technology for cryo-EM structures - Incorporation of single-particle analysis into industrial SBDD workflows Register here: https://www.sciencemag.org/custom-publishing/webinars/harnessing-cryo-em-investigate-gpcr-structure-and-discover-new-medicines ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the CCP4BB list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?SUBED1=CCP4BB&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/CCP4BB, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
