Dear All,

I wanted to let you know about a Staff Scientist position opening at
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

This is a fully funded principal investigator position, with the
expectation to spend equal time developing an original research program and
supporting user research at two DOE user facilities at Berkeley Lab: the
Joint Genome Institute and the Molecular Foundry. Both are knowledge-based
user facilities that provide state-of-the-art expertise and instrumentation
to an international community of scientists and engineers.

We are looking for candidates who have an interest in synthetic or
structural biology, protein engineering, DNA synthesis-enabled
bioengineering, or in other areas of designing, synthesizing, or
characterizing bio-nanomaterials.

Berkeley Lab is an outstanding place to work, with a diverse, team-oriented
and vibrant research community.

The full position description is at:
https://lbl.taleo.net/careersection/2/jobdetail.ftl?job=91444

We will accept and review applications through the end of January.

Thanks,
Corie
