Postdoc Position in Structural and Functional Characterization of
Macromolecular Complexes in Transcription and Repair
A postdoc position, supported by NIH funding, is available in the Dong
Wang Lab at University of California, San Diego.
Our research focuses on the interplay between two fundamental
processes: transcription and DNA repair. Current research projects focus on the
X-ray and CryoEM structural elucidation and functional/biochemical study of
macromolecular protein-nucleic acid complexes involved in transcription,
chromatin remodeling, and DNA repair. Please visit https://dongwang.ucsd.edu
for details of our recent research and publications.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experiences in
biochemistry, and molecular biology, X-ray crystallography, or CryoEM. We
sincerely invite you join our small, but vibrant and highly productive team.
Candidates must have at least one original first author publication in the
related field in an internationally recognized journal. Please send your CV,
list of publications, and the names and Email addresses of 2-3 references to
[email protected] before Oct 15, 2021.
