TWO POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN ARTIFICIAL PROTEIN MOTORS
Two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are available in the Protein
Structure Group at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. The
project is part of an international collaboration to design, build and
characterise artificial motor proteins. This interdisciplinary project is

Bayreuth (Birte Höcker) as well as collaborators in Japan, Canada and the UK.
We are looking for ambitious candidates who are excited by the challenge of
high-risk projects at the frontiers of science. The candidate should have
expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: biophysics, single
molecule science, protein science, structural biology, molecular biology,
biochemistry and/or synthetic biology.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be based at UNSW where we have in
house facilities for protein expression, purification, characterisation and
structure determination via x-ray crystallography and cryo-EM. We have access
to state-of-the-art facilities for single molecule characterisation within
Single Molecule Science and the Kat Gaus Microscopy Facility.
Research Associate Level A/B - $98K -$130K per annum ( plus 17% superannuation
