We are looking for postdoctoral scientists with protein science expertise (structural biology and/or biophysical/biochemical/cell-based assays) at the Centre for Medicines Discovery, University of Oxford. The positions are for work in the Centre for Artificial Intelligence for Precision Medicine (CAIPM), a collaborative centre combining leading scientists from the University of Oxford and King Abdulaziz University. Our program will involve setting up protein and/or cell-based assays as well as structure determination of proteins for drug discovery.
We have in-house capacity to screen a large number of targets and optimise expression/purification, as evidenced by the number of targets enabled for drug discovery by CMD. We have access to leading facilities for crystallography and cryo-EM for structure determination, as well as to state-of-the-art facilities for biophysical and functional studies. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me ([email protected]).
