Department of Chemistry Postdoctoral Research Opportunity Position Title: Postdoctoral Researcher Location: UC Davis, One Shields Avenue, Davis, California 95616 USA The Murray Laboratory at the University of California, Davis <https://murraylab.ucdavis.edu/>, is seeking a postdoctoral associate to join our team. Projects will include (1) investigating protein structure and dynamics underlying the biomolecular condensation of RNA-binding proteins and the self-assembly of cell cytoskeleton proteins; and (2) characterizing native plant cell wall structure and the effect of deconstruction approaches for bioproduct development. Experience in biological NMR, cryo-electron microscopy, and/or advanced biochemical and molecular biology methods is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided to excellent candidates as needed. The applicant will be supported by an NIH grant and have access to well-equipped facilities for solution and solid-state NMR, and cryogenic and non-cryogenic electron microscopy. Additional experimental resources are available through core facilities across the vibrant UC Davis campus. Davis California is ideally situated midway between the relaxing wilderness of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the vibrant biotechnology hub of the San Francisco Bay Area.
