Applications are invited for an EXCITING PHD OPPORTUNITY AT THE INTERFACE BETWEEN SINGLE MOLECULE BIOPHYSICS, STRUCTURAL AS WELL AS CELLULAR STUDIES. The project addresses tumour-associated interactions between DNA repair processes and gene transcription.

To apply, you should hold a Master degree in biophysics, biochemistry, or a related field and be enthusiastic about mechanistic aspects of protein systems in DNA processing. Ideally, you have a background in single molecule biophysics and/or structural biology.

Please send applications (including cover letter, CV, copies of certificates, and contact information for two referees) as a single pdf file (no more than 10 MB) to ingrid.tess...@virchow.uni-wuerzburg.de until 1 JUNE 2023.
