Dear colleagues,

this e-mail contains information about the activities of the special
interest group SIG-9 (Crystallographic Computing) within the European
Crystallographic Association. Feel free to forward this message to all
interested people.

If you do not wish to receive these messages, simply send me an e-mail, and

#######
Software Fayre
#######

At the European Crystallographic Meeting ECM35 in Poznan-Lviv (25-29 Aug)
we will have the opportunity to have again a crystallographic software
fayre. This event will take place during the lunch breaks of four days.
Software authors can present their programs and the latest developments in
the form of tutorials.

I have prepared a scheme of the available time slots on my website. Please
send me an e-mail if you want to book one of these slots. It is a great
chance to make your software known!

Microsymposia
#######

SIG-9 is organizing several microsymposia at the ECM35. (Some of these
microsymposia are joint with other SIGs). Please consider to submit your
abstract for these microsymposia. Registration will open very soon.

M3 Software developments in MX and Cryo-EM including AI / Machine Learning
M9 The new role of experiments in the age of protein fold prediction
M42 Quantum mechanics and computational chemistry-based methods of
crystallography
M43 Simulating and predicting structure
M44 Comparing crystal structures in massive datasets
