Hello,

I found that this one is good value for money:
https://eu.perixx.com/collections/ergonomic-mouse/products/perimice-619
There is an equivalent one (perimice-819) with an additional USB-C wireless
adapter and rechargeable battery, which I ended up deciding against because I
couldn’t figure out whether its battery is replaceable. All batteries
eventually die, and I am tired of replacing entire devices just because their
battery wasn’t designed to be replaced easily (if at all).

The multi-device feature is very useful. The mouse has two Bluetooth channels
plus the USB wireless adapter: toggling a button under the mouse automatically
attaches it to a different computer (after the initial Bluetooth pairing on
first use, toggling is nearly instant). So if you don’t mind carrying the mouse
around with you, then you might only need one.

This store has more options: https://eu.perixx.com/collections/ergonomic-mouse
For use with a laptop, you might consider a trackball mouse. I have never used
one, but the obvious advantage is that you don’t need to move the mouse on a
flat surface, so it is likely easier to use on the go or in smaller spaces.

Cheers,

Guillaume

I just bought one at ACTION in Finestrat for less than 5 Euros , wireless and
USB-C rechargable and I will certainly buy one or two more the next time I am
in Spain if I find them again. But,I will certainly never buy a MAC ... 😄

Dear All,

sorry for the only tangentially related question, but do you have
recommendations for ergonomic mice recommendable for use with CCP4, especially
Coot, and general use (i.e. Word, email etc).
They would be for use with iMacs at home and in the lab, and MacBook Pro for
travel, i.e. for two of them size is not an issue but for the third it is.

Thanks in advance,

Mark
