Good morning. Conference Announcement: 29th Enzyme Mechanisms Conference, January 2026
For the past 56 years, the Enzyme Mechanisms Conference<https://www.enzymemechanismsconference.org/> (EMC) has been one of the premier settings for the presentation and discussion of mechanistic enzymology. This biennial conference provides a setting for scientific talks and posters on all areas of enzymology–including catalysis, structure, and regulation–for the community of scientists who explore enzymes with a variety of tools and approaches. Registration is now open for the 29th Enzyme Mechanisms Conference, which will be held in Carlsbad California, just north of San Diego, in January 2026. It is a great site and great community of biochemists, protein chemists, and protein engineers, who share many interests with those more closely aligned with the field of structural biology. This is a robust community and there will be plenty of opportunities for posters, poster flash talks, and social sessions to engage the community.
