Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the *CCP4/Shanghai School in Macromolecular
Crystallography and Cryo Electron Microscopy: From data collection to
structure refinement and beyond*. The school is organized jointly by
Collaborative Computational Project #4 (CCP4) and National Facility for
Protein Science Shanghai (NFPSS), with assistance from Ruslan Sanishvili
(KMUTT). *It will be held at NFPSS from September 19 to September 28. 2028*.

Lectures will cover the basics of macromolecular crystallography (MX) and
Cryo Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM). Some of the highlights of the school
will be *extensive tutorials on software, MX and EM data collection from
the participants’ samples, and problem-solving sessions* where the
participants will work on their own projects with the guidance of the local
and international experts.

Students will have an *opportunity to display posters* of their projects to
facilitate more productive discussions with the experts.

*Deadline for applications is September 8*. Graduate students, postdoctoral
researchers and young scientists at the assistant professor level, along
with commercial/industrial researchers are encouraged to apply. *25
applicants *will be selected for participation in software training and
problem-solving sessions. The lectures will be open to all.

The program, online application, registration fees and other details can be
