Dear all, The call for SwissFEL proposals for the 2026-II is now open. See below for updates and submission details. We are looking forward to your submissions!
================================================================= The Maloja experimental station is now offering a restricted call for a new flat liquid sheet sample environment. We continue to offer Protein Crystal Screening beamtimes at the Cristallina and Alvra stations and joint beamtime access to the SwissFEL Bernina endstation and Swiss Light Source ADDAMS surface diffractometer. For the Aramis hard X-ray line, SwissFEL can now deliver extended photon energies up to 15 keV. We continue to over intense attosecond pulses across the standard soft and hard X-ray spectral range. Please consult the following website to obtain specific information about the call, proposal process and templates, status of the available instruments, and the offered setups: https://www.psi.ch/swissfel/calls ================================================================= SUBMISSION DEADLINE The deadline for the submission of beam time requests for the Swiss Free Electron Laser 'SwissFEL' https://www.psi.ch/swissfel will be: March 16, 2025, midnight (23:59 CET). ================================================================== EXPERIMENTAL PERIOD Herewith we call for proposals for the beam time period between: August 1 to December 23, 2026. ================================================================= INSTRUMENTS The following instruments will be open for new proposals: SwissFEL ARAMIS Alvra: https://www.psi.ch/swissfel/alvra/ SwissFEL ARAMIS Bernina: https://www.psi.ch/swissfel/bernina/ SwissFEL ARAMIS Cristallina-Q and MX: https://www.psi.ch/en/swissfel/cristallina SwissFEL ATHOS Maloja: https://www.psi.ch/en/swissfel/maloja SwissFEL ATHOS Furka: https://www.psi.ch/de/swissfel/furka ================================================================= PROPOSAL-SUBMISSION All submissions will be handled by the PSI Digital Users Office (DUO: https://duo.psi.ch<https://duo.psi.ch/> / contact: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>).
